We are dedicated to transforming emergency preparedness from a reactive response to a proactive strategy. Our vision is to establish a comprehensive framework that invests in communities in Israel to be equipped with tools, knowledge, and rapid-response capabilities to navigate complex crises with high confidence.

Our Strategic Goals for a Resilient Future

By integrating cutting-edge operational tactics AND training with local civil safety protocols, we aim to create a sustainable legacy of resilience. We believe that through strategic investment in human resources and infrastructure, we can build a resilient nation for generations to come. When the next emergency strikes - we will be ready. We operate within the space where the civilians ARE to where they SHOULD be.

Pop-up Evacuee Management

We provide training modules for local authorities, in accordance with cutting-edge emergency protocols, to set up within 1–2 hours a center to handle people who have been evacuated from their homes. There are needs for temporary shelter, collecting information, surveying the circumstances, processing paperwork, and more. This includes preparing HR and providing basic equipment such as internet, tables, electricity, water, etc.

Support First Response Teams

While most communities have emergency medical and security teams, the rescue teams are relatively underdeveloped and need supplemental training, equipment, and organization. Typically, the teams in small towns and villages need more attention and support. Common needs are internal communication gear, first aid, storage containers, and drones for immediate aerial perspective. Utilizing new gear means tactical advancement.

Resilience 101 Seminars

Many civilians have low awareness of basic emergency circumstances and preparedness, particularly populations that are less integrated into the mainstream of Israeli society. These "101" seminars take place within such communities and provide basic instruction on how to prepare for emergency situations. Costs are simply for instructors to travel and present the seminar. There is an emphasis on open questions and discussions.

Administrative Infrastructure

By nature of emergencies, it is common that initiatives are ad hoc. However, there is still need a registered nonprofit organization to provide infrastructure and services, such as receiving donations, issuing receipts, paying contractors and suppliers. There are potentially additional services in areas of employment, certifications, media marketing, professional consulting, and administrative assistance - all of which we are able to provide.

Building Resilience Through Expertise

We are a registered Israeli nonprofit organization with Proper Management certification from the Ministry of Justice, and we are certified with the Israeli Tax Authority (clause 46) as a public institution eligible for income tax rebates to Israeli donors.

According to a professional survey we conducted in July 2024, on how prepared the people are for various emergencies, we found significant deficiencies. For example,

  • 44% felt they are not able to protect their own home in a terrorist breach;

  • 64% are not set up to evacuate their homes within a number of minutes;

  • 49% would not know how to respond in case of exposure to fire and smoke;

  • 51% would not be able to provide first aid care to themselves nor their neighbors.

Emergency Israel was founded on a simple yet urgent principle: civil preparedness is the ultimate form of national security. We observed, studied, consulted, networked, and started developing operational protocols. Today we run projects in the civil sector. To do so, we utilize our network of emergency professionals, nonprofit partners, and community representatives.
